Had Ourselves A Merry Little Christmas

Christmas is starting to look more like Groundhog Day. It never ends; we just enjoy wave after wave of visitors and round after round of gifts and meals.

The dogs have been slipped too many treats; the kids have gotten too many toys. Oh, and everyone is sick, of course. Pretty much a perfect Christmas, right?

Here’s the photo album; apologies to those of you who have already seen many of these on Instagram.

Daniel was the first one to arrive home and the first to leave. He departed early on the day after Christmas for a vacation to Costa Rica. Short visit home, but sweet.

Daniel and Victoria took Soho, Chloe and Vernon for a Christmas walk to More Mesa.

Next to arrive were Taylor from NYC and Gail from Missoula.

Christmas Day was the usual festival of shredding followed by the sheer panic of trying to get that 30-lb turkey and trimmings on the table for dinner. It wasn’t pretty, but no one starved.

The CE and I are so grateful to all who made the trek to be with us and make 2013 our most memorable Christmas yet.

Hope your holiday has been as merry and bright as ours!

We had an amazing time at Via Bendita!! Thank you PP & CE for hosting a full-on Christmas extravaganza. We know it takes a tremendous amount of work to host a Christmas of that magnitude and we are very grateful for all the yummy food, the generous gifts, and the special time with family and friends. The memories you created for our family will last a lifetime.
I hope you both are relaxing with your feet up as you read this! Lots of love…
