Congrats to Alexandra and Andy!

It was a perfect day from start to finish.

Pre-wedding jitters? The only ones I noticed were mine and the CE’s, worrying about the weather (the fog lifted just in time!) the greenness of the lawn (the chairs mercifully covered those brown spots) and rose petals for the aisle (they arrived and were beautiful!)

Yes, we had rose petals!

A small army of caterers and organizers arrived to get everything ready.

The bridesmaids added this touch as a nod to the special beer the groom brewed for the occasion.

The bride was serene and happy. She and her attendants arrived mid-morning for hair and make-up while we scurried around completing last-minute errands.

Alexandra was radiant even before her makeup was done.

And she was a stunningly beautiful bride!

After dinner, the young people (and some of the older crowd, too!) dance the evening away. Then we all gathered under the stars as the happy couple made their getaway amidst a “bubble tunnel” and started what I know will be their very happy new life together. Our prayers and very best wishes go with them.
