By December 29, most of you had probably chucked your tree and moved on to making New Year’s resolutions.
Not us. We were just getting warmed up: it was time for Christmas, Part Deux.
Taylor and Daniel had both jetted back to NYC, but Tina, John and the girls had just returned from a Christmas visit with family in Utah. Evie and Viv had heard that Santa knew how to find Grandpa and Nana’s house and they wanted to see what he might have left under the tree.
Of course, Buster came along.
And Chloe was not to be outdone by some pipsqueak Chihuahua.
There were more Furbys to be unwrapped. Did you know that Furbys do not have an off-switch? We hear that since they’ve gone back to Newport, the Furbys have their own room – it’s called the garage.
You never know which presents will be annointed the favorites. Turns out that a last-minute trip I made to Target was the ticket: light-up Minnie Mouse heels and a hair-styling kit made Viv very happy.
There were lots of presents for the rest of us, too. This one for Grandpa was right up his alley:

Their visit was the perfect end to a perfect Christmas. Can’t wait to see you all in February to greet the new baby!
