Katherine, just a few years back, with her first chick. Look at that smile!

P.S. Comments are good! More of you should try it!

It is my great honor to be first to comment on the First Commentor. On Saturday mornings it is quite discouraging to look at PolloPlayer and see that the FC has already written her piece. The reason for the discouragement is that she has drawn all, and I mean all, of the clever oxygen out of the room, leaving none for the rest of us.

In spite of this, PP would not enjoy its enormous, world wide success without the efforts of this clever lady, whose joy in chickenry was indeed proven at an early age, as established by this 20 year old photograph. All hats off to the FC!

    Wow – I don’t know what’s most exciting:
    a) making the chicken blog
    b) actually getting my own moniker (wee! FC! Not to be confused with KFC – definitely not.)
    c) the CE fibbing and mis-stating the date of the photo by 20 years
    d) that I have apparently mastered holding a chicken after low these many years (case in point – picture of me with Autumn a while back.)

what a sweet photo. I wish I had one of me playing the chicken who laid the golden eggs in 4th grade…. from what i remember I really got in touch with my inner chicken… haha
