Stuffed.

Taylor left this morning to head back to WDC and Daniel returned to campus to write a paper. The apartment is QUIET. Hard to believe that just a few days ago we were knee-deep in kids both tall and small.

We went up to Harlem for bbq Thanksgiving Eve

Thanksgiving Day started early with guests arriving at 7 am. Since we live on the Macy’s parade route, it’s almost impossible to get past the police barricades anytime after that. The little ones were all on their best behavior for the whole day, sans naps, right through the pumpkin pie course. Or, as Jamesy likes to say, “PUNKIN PIEEEEE!”

Early? Nah...we LOVE getting up at the crack of dawn!

Tina and Viv make the most of the early morning

John, Tina, Daniel, Taylor Thomas, Viv and Evie watch Ronald McDonald go by

Angie hosted the dinner like a pro and everyone proclaimed it the best Thanksgiving feast ever. If you doubt that, take a look at Taylor’s plate:

Yes, that's my three-layer jello salad in the background. First and last time I "cook" in our apartment.

Tiny and his doppelganger were on hand for the event, in formal attire, of course

But only one of them enjoyed the leftovers...

The little kids had their own table

Thomas and James had fun!

And Viv was not the LEAST bit tired!

Happy Thanksgiving to all, and to all, PUNKIN PIEEEEE!

Hope your holiday weekend was wonderful!

Looks like fun! Is the second Boston terrier a new addition? Had a great walk with the dogs on More Mesa Friday and today.

We had such a great time! Thanks to you guys, as well, for hosting the parade activities. QUITE the treat. Loved having you all…except for that dead bird that occupied my oven for 6 hours. He, I could have done without.
