A Capital Experience.

We took the train down to WDC for a few days to visit Taylor. He has unpacked all the boxes, settled into his apartment, started his job, received his first pay check and written his first rent check. Employed and happy! The ultimate Mother’s Day gift!

Taylor and Victoria, who was also visiting.

He took time out to have lunch with us.

We visited the National Gallery of Art after lunch. We all loved this painting: "Madame Picasso"

The CE and I also visited the Modern Wing of the National Gallery, where a giant Calder mobile hangs from the ceiling.

Speaking of art, Taylor has this interesting caricature of himself and friend, Easton, hanging in his apartment.

T's college friend, Dana, lives within walking distance. Nice to have a friend close by. We all went to dinner together our last night in WDC.
