Heathcliff in the Hamptons

Too bad I’m not a Bronte sister. The weather this week could inspire a novel about wandering the moors calling “Cathy! Cathy!”. Since I’m sadly no Bronte, however, it inspires only a blog post, and we wander not the moors, but the pantry, in search of those cheeseballs, which are vanishing at an alarming pace. (The orange hands are a dead giveaway…)

We’ve had way more rain than shine, but the sun came out nicely for Thomas’ birthday party yesterday.  It was THE social event of the weekend in the Hamptons and only a very lucky few were invited. The theme: pirates!

Despite the rain, it’s been a lovely visit. Relaxing and fun. We’re all happy in the Hamptons.
