Sending all our love and sympathy to Dan and Katherine today.
“Dogs are our link to paradise. They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring–it was peace.”- Milan Kundera

Thank you PP. I can’t be my usual silly yet verbose self b/c I’m still crying too much, but your thoughts and prayers are most appreciated at this difficult/sad time. xxoo

CE here: Nothing can really be said to help a pet person deal with the loss of their beloved companion, so I won’t try. But I do sometimes wonder what becomes of these lovely creatures once they “pass”; but then it is tough enough to ponder our own fate at such a time, so nothing ever gets figured out regarding the concept of pet heaven, if you will. However, there is one thing I am thinking might be true, which is this: wherever Dizzy went, that is where you will find Karma. And that is the place where the special ones go.
